Here's what's coming up today. Maps and Atlases in store + Max's Place open mic is All Ages, while Jake's and Bear's is 21+.

--- Maps and Atlases In store performance at Landlocked Music, (on 202 N. Walnut Street close to Bluebird) at 3-3:30 p.m. FREE. ALL AGES.

I'm excited to see a performance at the new Landlocked! I digged it when they hosted Casiotone for the Painfully Alone at their old Washington Street location two years ago.

-Maps and Atlases, Nurses, Kentucky Nightmare. At Jakes on 419 N Walnut. 8 pm. $6

Maps and Atlases are on tour together, and Kentucky Nightmare are some of b-town favorites. Deanna, our blogger who will cover the show, is pretty pumped to see M+A. She saw them open up for Margot and the Nuclear So and So's a while ago. AND Margot is playing at the Buskirk October 18.

-Open Mic night at. Max's Place. Weekly.

- Scurvy, Nowlin-Mulholland Quintet. Bear's Place. Jazzy experimental stuff, yo.

E-mail me at ohstefania@gmail.com if you know of anything else we should mention. Have fun!
