The IU men's club rugby team finished third in this weekend's tournament. The team defeated rivals Illinois and Ohio State in the first two rounds, but lost to Notre Dame in the quarterfinal. Ohio State conceded the third place game due to injuries and preparation for league play which begins this week.

No. 17 IU field hockey ends its second game in Ohio with a 3-2 loss to Ohio State. With the two losses this weekend to Miami (Ohio) and Ohio State, the Hoosiers record is 5-4. Ohio State got off to a 2-0 lead in the first half by goals from sophomore forward Maria Briones and junior forward Jena Cacciatore.
