The IU men's club rugby team finished third in this weekend's tournament. The team defeated rivals Illinois and Ohio State in the first two rounds, but lost to Notre Dame in the quarterfinal.
Ohio State conceded the third place game due to injuries and preparation for league play which begins this week. The Hoosiers finished third for the second year in a row.
The team travels to Purdue for their first league contest Oct. 3.
