IU football recruit earns Player of the Year award

2010 IU football commit and Maine South running back Matt Perez has been named the Chicago Sun-Times Player of the Year. In his career, the 5'11 rusher has totaled 3,771 yards and 51 touchdowns for a team seeking its second consecutive Illinois state championship. ''He is the best player I have ever coached," Maine South coach Dave Inserra said.

IU-Purdue pregame material
