Quotes

On what it means to be an IU football player:

Oh man, it means a lot to me. Especially being a part of the senior class, it's everything we've been through in the past four or four and-a-half-years through the ups and downs, the loss of Coach Hep, to everything that has happened to us. It's definitely been a roller-coaster ride for us and we stuck together. We were resilient. We all pushed each other and we all worked hard.

On his favorite individual memory:

Last year against Minnesota. That was a game I'll always remember. After that I was like 'Hey, I can do this, I can really play.' I remember one of the safties say 'If you can play like that the rest of the season, you can get All-Big Ten'. Something like that never really crossed my mind...that was one of the first games I really stepped up and played well.

On future plans:

Number one is I'll play my heart out at Purdue. After that, I'll finish up here - I'll be graduating in December...I'll be working out and training and see what I hear from All-Star games or combines and start getting ready for that.
