Quotes
On what it means to be an IU football player:
Even though I was recruited out of Virginia, I was actually born in South Bend. I was born a Hoosier, so it's kind of like coming back to my home state. To be a Hoosier - I've only lived here the past five years - it's hard to put those five years into words. It feels like this was where I was meant to be all along.
On his favorite individual memory:
It's hard to go against the one I had earlier this year. Middleton actually did all the work for that, all I did was scoop the ball up against Western Michigan in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. For my greatest memory, it's hard for the senior class to compare with that Purdue game two years ago. That was the most amazing that I've experienced in my entire life with the fans rushing the field and seeing the entire university go crazy.
On future plans:
I'm looking to a couple things. I'm looking into Teach for America - I'm applying for that. I've also got some family business I'm working on in St. Louis. I'm also looking into grad school for architecture. I've got quite a few things on my plate trying to help me get to the next step in my life.
