Former IDSer and current ESPN blogger Eamonn Brennan layed out his best and worst case scenarios for each Big Ten team today, and he isn't too optimistic on the Hoosiers' upcoming season.

Brennan expects big things from the usual suspects (Maurice Creek, Christian Watford, Verdell Jones), but he says fans shouldn't expect a .500 season.

At one point in his best case analysis, Brennan writes "forward Tom Pritchard crashes the offensive glass," which caught my attention the most. Given that Pritchard was third on his own team in offensive rebounds (51) and fourth in total rebounds (107), I wouldn't say he is the man to look at for that category. Someone like newcomer Guy-Marc Michel - who averaged 7.3 rebounds per game at Northern Idaho College last season - or sophomore Derek Elston - who averaged 4.1 boards per game and totaled 3 more offensive rebounds than Pritchard mostly as a reserve player - would probably be a better example.

Brennan also says this IU squad is essentially the same as last season, so he might be selling short how the return of sharpshooters Creek and Matt Roth provides an outside presence all but absent last season.

What do you think? What is your best/worst case scenario for the 2010-11 Hoosiers?
