IU recruit Hope Elam, who will join the women's basketball team next year has helped her team advance to nationals. On Saturday at home, Vincennes beat #10 Monroe out of New York 71-62.
Hope's father, John Huett, told me in an e-mail that his daughter was double and triple teamed all game and defended very well. Despite the tight defense, Elam finished with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal.
The Hoosiers will have the tough task of replacing four seniors going into next year.
