POSTGAME
If you don't know, you better know.
IU 71 Wisconsin 66

After I collect my thoughts on this one, I'll throw up a post tomorrow discussing the game. For now, enjoy the victory, Hoosier Nation.
HALFTIME
You kids, with your MTV, your skateboards and your foul mouths.
I'm referring to the F**k Wisconsin chant that seemingly broke out of nowhere near the end of the second half. As far as the rest of the chanting, there was some "Stand Up, Old People" here and there. However, it was largely drowned out because both students and alumni were loud and cheering all half.
Also, the students seems to have responded to Sampson's e-mail, because the stadium was near full right at tip, something that hasn't happened all season.
It's 28-26 Wisconsin at half.
As far as the actual game is concerned, here's some observations:
IU is not shooting well from beyond the arc. They've only made 2-of-12 from 3-point land.
Alando Tucker has the most silent 14 points I've ever seen in my life. He doesn't stick out at all on the court, but somehow he sneaked in a number of buckets.
Um, the game is starting again and I got to go. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, the moment has finally arrived. Actually, not quite yet seeing as it's just a shade after 6 p.m. here in the icebox of a city formerly known as Bloomington, IN., as I type this. But in less than an hour it's No. 2 Wisconsin vs. the Hoosiers.
We all know this is IU's biggest home bout of the season. They've been particularly stellar at home this season, but with the added hoopla surrounding this game, it will be interesting to see how the Hoosiers respond out of the gate.
And your projected starters are:
Wisconsin
Alando Tucker Jason Chappell Brian Butch Michael Flowers Kammron Taylor
IU
D.J. White Lance Stemler Roderick Wilmont Armon Bassett Earl Calloway
I'll see you at the half with some thoughts on the first chunk of the game. One sidenote: Coach Sampson sent out an e-mail asking the students to actually show up early for this game. Let's see if that happens tonight.
