A favorite among families, the new Play It Again Sports in Bloomington will buy, sell and trade quality used sports and fitness equipment. Play It Again Sports is part of Winmark - the Resale Company®, a unique national retail resale franchise that focuses on sustainability, small business formation and providing Resale for Everyone®.

Meet the Owners

For owners Heath and Josie Snider, opening Play It Again Sports in Bloomington is a natural extension of their longtime commitment to resale retail and their community. Josie’s mother has owned and operated Once Upon a Child for 26 years and Style Encore for more than 15 years, giving the family deep experience in helping customers find quality products at affordable prices while giving gently used items a second life. Heath, a former school teacher, was drawn to the opportunity to build a business of his own while creating a place where families could access quality sporting equipment without the expense of buying everything new. Together, Heath and Josie saw an opportunity to bring the Play It Again Sports concept to Bloomington and create a business that could support local families, promote reuse and help more kids get started in sports.

“We’re incredibly excited to finally open our doors and welcome the community,” said Heath Sinder, owner of Play It Again Sports in Bloomington. “As a former teacher, I know how important sports can be for kids to help them build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging. We wanted to create a business where we could give back to the community, make sports equipment more accessible and help more kids get the opportunity to get involved in the sports they love.”
