Indiana women’s basketball gained its third class of 2027 commitment Friday in five-star forward Azy Jackson, according to an X post from On3’s Talia Goodman. Jackson chose the Hoosiers over other programs, like USC and the University of Kansas.

Jackson, who is a senior at Bonney Lake High School in Washington, is the No. 20 overall recruit from the 2027 class, according to ESPN. As a junior, the 6-foot-4 Jackson averaged 14.6 points and 14.8 rebounds per game. Jackson led her squad to a 15-12 overall record last season, and the Panthers lost in the first round of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Class 4A Championship.

However, Jackson suffered a season-ending knee injury over the summer that will prevent her from playing her senior season at Bonney Lake.

Jackson joins guard Brookeslee Colvin and forward Finley Parker as the Hoosiers’ three 2027 recruits. Colvin, a four-star recruit who averaged 30.9 points per game as a junior, committed to Indiana on Sept. 22. Parker averaged 19.6 points per game last season and is also a four-star prospect.

Indiana went 18-14 overall last season and missed the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers will host an exhibition contest against Marian University on Oct. 28, before opening their 2026-27 season against Florida Gulf Coast University on Nov. 3 in Bloomington.
