Indiana women’s basketball announced its 2026-27 nonconference schedule in a release Monday, revealing the Hoosiers’ 13 non-Big Ten contests for the upcoming season. Of the 13 nonconference games, 11 will be played at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers will open their season Nov. 3 in Bloomington against Florida Gulf Coast University, which Indiana defeated 82-64 in Fort Myers, Florida. Former Hoosier guard Shay Ciezki scored a game-high 26 points against the Eagles, while now-fourth year guard Lenée Beaumont recorded 23 points.
Here are the nonconference opponents the Hoosiers will compete against this season:

Dec. 20 vs. Florida State University
The 2026 Elevance Health Fort Myers Tipoff will take place at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College as the Hoosiers’ two nonconference contests away from Bloomington.
Aside from Florida Gulf Coast, Indiana also played Florida State in last season’s nonconference slate. The Hoosiers defeated the Seminoles 76-72 in Tallahassee, Florida, after a clutch layup from former Indiana guard Jerni Kiaku with 15 seconds remaining in the contest.
After going 18-14 overall and 6-12 in the Big Ten last season, Indiana women’s basketball didn’t receive an NCAA Tournament bid for the first time since 2017-18. Two Hoosiers departed the program via graduation, and six entered the transfer portal, giving Indiana head coach Teri Moren roster positions to fill. Moren and the Hoosiers added five players from the 2026 transfer portal and five players from the incoming freshman class.
