The following is a press release written by Trunnis Goggins, II for Veritas Publishing House.
Veritas Publishing House and 4P Group LLC will present a special benefit book event supporting New Leaf New Life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Redbud Books in Bloomington, Indiana.
The evening will feature authors Chastidy Mader, Ryan Mader, Nordia McNish, and Trunnis Goggins, II, who will share powerful perspectives on resilience, recovery, personal transformation, purpose, and the importance of receiving a genuine second chance.
The event will bring together authors, community leaders, recovery advocates, educators, justice professionals, service organizations, employers, and Bloomington-area residents for an evening of meaningful conversation and community impact.
“This event is about much more than books,” said Trunnis Goggins, II, co-founder of Veritas Publishing House and founder of 4P Group LLC. “It is about recognizing the strength it takes to rebuild a life and supporting an organization that helps people turn hope into a practical plan for the future. New Leaf New Life is doing important work in the Bloomington community, and we are honored to support that mission.”
New Leaf New Life assists individuals affected by incarceration and reentry by helping connect them with practical support, encouragement, resources, and opportunities to create productive and sustainable futures.
The featured authors’ stories reflect many of the themes central to that mission, including overcoming addiction, navigating incarceration and adversity, rebuilding relationships, accepting accountability, rediscovering purpose, and transforming difficult experiences into service to others.
Tickets are $20, with $12 from every ticket directly benefiting New Leaf New Life.
Community members are encouraged to attend, meet the authors, support the organization, and participate in a broader conversation about recovery, successful reentry, stronger families, and safer communities.
