Indiana defensive back Tiawan Mullen signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent following the conclusion of the 2023 NFL Draft on Saturday.

In 2020, Mullen became the first Indiana cornerback in program history to receive first-team All-American honors. During the 2022 season, Mullen started all 12 games for the Hoosiers, he had 58 total tackles and two interceptions. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mentions from the coaches and media poll.

He was recruited as a four-star prospect, the 43rd best cornerback in the country, out of Coconut Creek High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He leaves Indiana with 144 total tackles and 11 career takeaways spread across 40 total games. He joins his brother defensive back Trayvon Mullen and cousin quarterback Lamar Jackson in the NFL.
