Multi-vehicle crash along South Old Ind. 37 causes several injuries Friday

An accident involving three cars, a dump truck and a Gator utility vehicle caused several injuries and property damage to Mays Greenhouse in Bloomington on Friday. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Friday along South Old Ind. 37.

A passenger in one of the cars involved in the crash said the vehicle she occupied was rear-ended, which pushed that vehicle into the southbound lane and caused the dump truck to hit them head on.

The crash sent the dump truck into Mays Greenhouse, pinning the Gator utility vehicle, which someone was driving, against the building, according to the Herald-Times.

Mays Greenhouse is closed until further notice and their small space gardening class is also cancelled.

No further details are available as of Saturday morning.
