Both of the Indiana men’s tennis matches this weekend are being postponed for health and safety reasons, according to IU sports information director Jeremy Rosenthal. The Hoosiers were scheduled to travel to Auburn, Alabama, for an SEC doubleheader Saturday against Auburn University and Sunday at Vanderbilt University.
The Auburn match is rescheduled for March 7. Vanderbilt and Indiana are currently working to find a new date, according to the Indiana men’s tennis Twitter account.
Rosenthal said the COVID-19 issues within the Indiana program are not serious, and the team will continue to practice throughout the week. The team is on track to play in Bloomington on Feb. 5 and 6 against Yale and Princeton respectively.
