IU is launching national searches for four key leadership positions, according to the university’s website. The search for each open position has a hiring chair.

The positions are Executive Vice President and Chancellor of IUPUI which is chaired by Dean of IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Karen E. Bravo.

The search for Executive Vice President and Provost of IU Bloomington is chaired by Fred H. Cate, Vice President for Research.

Dean of IU School of Medicine and Executive Vice President for University Clinical Affairs, Jay L. Hess is the hiring chair for the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IU Bloomington.

Jacqueline Simmons, Vice President and General Counsel, is the hiring chair for Vice President for Communications and Marketing of IU Bloomington.

As part of the searches, each hiring chair will be supported by a search committee, with listening sessions to gather input from the IU community. Invitations for the sessions will be sent to designated groups that have special interests related to the respective searches, including students, faculty, staff and others in the IU community.

More information about the searches is available on IU’s website.
