Bloomington residents should expect snow late Tuesday evening. Up to 1 inch is possible according to the National Weather Service.
A mix of clouds and rain Tuesday morning will turn to snow in the evening. The temperature will drop from approximately 60 degrees to about 30 degrees.
A freeze warning will take effect 10 p.m. Tuesday through noon Wednesday. To prevent outdoor water pipes from freezing or bursting, wrap, drain or allow them to drip slowly.
Those with in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing, according to the National Weather Service.
