IU men’s soccer senior Spencer Glass was named to the Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Watch List Thursday. The award is given annually to the country’s top male and female college soccer players.
Glass, one of IU’s captains for the 2021 season, was named second-team All-Big Ten last year after scoring three goals and adding three assists in 22 starts.
Glass is one of 35 players on the list and one of four from the Big Ten.
IU has had seven players win the award. The last Hoosier to win the Hermann Trophy was Andrew Gutman in 2018. Gutman currently is a defender for Atlanta United FC.
