IU football to play Purdue in Big Ten champions week

The Old Oaken Bucket game has been rescheduled and will take place during the Big Ten Champions Week.IU will play Purdue at 7:30p.m. Friday in Bloomington.

Both teams' programs are currently on pause due to positive COVID-19 cases and have not resumed practice.

The Bucket game was canceled last week for the first time ever. IU and Purdue have played each other every year since 1919.

Based on the Big Ten’s original plan for champions week, IU was supposed to play No. 16 Iowa.
