IU men’s tennis player Bennett Crane was announced Wednesday as a member of the All-Big Ten first team.
In his senior season, Crane finished with a singles record of 12-5 and a record of 5-2 in dual matches. While playing at the No.1 position in singles, Crane opened the season by winning eight of his first nine matches. Crane defeated the No. 8 singles player Joseph Guillin of University of California Santa Barbara.
Following Crane's start to the season, he made the finals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regional Championship in October.
Crane reached No. 49 nationally in singles this season.
