Week 10 of the NFL season didn't feature any standout performances for former IU football players now in the professional ranks, but five of the seven former players did record victories in their games.

Running back Jordan Howard of the Chicago Bears had a lackluster showing against the Detroit Lions, rushing for just 21 yards on 11 attempts and recording one catch for 11 yards. But, the Bears still won 34-22 to remain in first place in the NFC North.

Tevin Coleman had a slightly more impressive rushing day for the Atlanta Falcons, but his came in a losing effort. Coleman had 11 carries for 44 yards and three catches for 19 yards as Atlanta lost 28-16 at Cleveland, bringing an end to its three-game winning streak.

All three former Hoosiers  who play on offensive lines around the NFL picked up wins.

Dan Feeney, an offensive guard with the Los Angeles Chargers, made his ninth start in as many games this season as Los Angeles won 20-6 at Oakland. The Chargers are now 7-2 this season.

Staying in the state of California, offensive guard Rodger Saffold of the Los Angeles Rams made his 10th start in 10 games as Los Angeles won 36-31 at home against Seattle. The Rams are in first place in the NFC West with a 9-1 record.

Lastly, offensive tackle Jason Spriggs of the Green Bay Packers made his eighth appearance of the season as Green Bay defeated Miami 31-12 at home.

Sunday night's contest between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles marked the fifth game in the NFL career of Dallas linebacker Chris Covington and also featured the rookie's first tackle in the NFL. Covington's Cowboys won the game, 27-20.

Tight end Ian Thomas, another NFL rookie from IU, appeared but recorded no statistics for the Carolina Panthers in their 52-21 loss at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
