The Starbucks on Indiana Avenue has boarded up windows after rocks were thrown through the window on Sunday evening. Since surveillance cameras were not working at the time, the Bloomington Police Department has no leads.

The front windows of the Starbucks on South Indiana Avenue were boarded up after being broken out early Sunday morning.

The Bloomington Police Department responded to a security alarm around 5:30 a.m. Sunday at the Starbucks. The alarm was activated when someone threw rocks through the store’s front windows.

Surveillance video was not working at the time of the incident, so police have no leads on a suspect, BPD Lt. John Kovach said. Starbucks managers told officers they had recently banned a woman from the location, but they did not know her last name.

No one was inside the location at the time of the incident, Kovach said.

Police located a couple of large rocks on the floor inside of the Starbucks. Nothing was taken from the store, managers told police.
