Three months ago, President Trump repealed Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which allowed hundreds of thousands of immigrants brought to the United States by their parents as children to go to college and find jobs. Three months from now, the deadline for Congress to create a replacement for DACA will arrive. Without congressional action, these students will have to return to countries they no longer remember. 'Nutcracker' dancers deliver artistry through growth

Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker,” performed by Jacobs School of Music students this weekend, captivated its audience with small moments of humor, such as the drawn-out death of the Mouse King. It also utilized the beauty of its dancing and sets, including the falling snowflakes in the last number of act one. Read more here.


Senate approves its version of tax bill early Saturday morning

In the dark of the night Saturday morning, the Senate passed its version of an overhaul tax bill, only giving senators hours to vote on the bill. Despite that, the bill passed 51-49 with only one Republican vote against from Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tennessee. Read more here.
