Ginger coconut Vietnamese coffee
Café sua da is a traditional Vietnamese drink that mixes extra strong coffee with really sweet condensed milk. This recipe plays with those ingredients to create something that is creamier and has more flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup ground coffee, the darkest roast possible
- 1 tablespoon sliced fresh ginger
- 1 liter water
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup coconut milk, unsweetened
- whipped cream, optional
Step 1: Brew the coffee with the ginger mixed into the grinds.
Step 2: Mix the sweetened condensed milk and coconut milk.
Step 3: Take the ginger infused coffee and mix with the coconut cream. Serve warm or over ice.
