Bloomington Police Department officers responded to an east side CVS Pharmacy Nov. 12 to a report of a bomb threat, BPD Sgt. Joe Crider said.
An employee reported at about 6:30 p.m. that a man had made a phone call to CVS saying there was a bomb in the store and that he wanted money.
The store was checked by employees and then evacuated.
The store was then checked by BPD using an IU Police Department explosive detection dog. Nothing was found inside the store.
The man who made the threat disconnected the phone call and police were unable to
track its origins.
A bomb threat was also reported to BPD Sept. 13 from the CVS at 2701 E. Third St.
