Medical corporation to relocate to Bloomington

Eight Medical Corporation, a medical device distributor from St. Paul, Minn., has decided to relocate its offices to Bloomington.

Quality of life and access to industry resources were key players in the decision, according to a press release from the Bloomington Economic Development
Corporation.

“These are the stories we like to hear,” BEDC President Ron Walker said in the release. “A company chose Bloomington because of a diverse medical device cluster from which to gain resources and knowledge to foster further success for the company.”

The corporation distributes the Recirculator 8.0, a control console used for hyperthermic lavage of the peritoneal and thoracic cavities, according to the release.

“Our new office brings us closer to customers and to the specialized medical device resources required to grow our business,” Chuck Russo, chief operating officer of Eight Medical Corporation, said in the release.
