Luck, a lifetime resident of Monroe County, has masters and bachelor degrees from IU. She has worked in Monroe County government for more than 20 years in positions such as chief deputy auditor and chief deputy treasurer. She is currently the Monroe County payroll administrator.

“One of my first priorities is to provide public service to the taxpayers of Monroe County. Technology is great, but it does not always explain taxation in a way that taxpayers can understand.

To process any payment to the County timely and accurately.

Another priority is to adhere to state laws and county policies in order to prevent potential conflicts.

Then there would be educational opportunities and cross training of employees, not only to assist one another but to prevent hindering other offices in the functions of their office.”
