Minors involved in alleged battery case

Parents called Bloomington police Monday after their 7-year-old daughter described to them what might have been sexual battery, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Bill
Parker said.

An 11-year-old male neighbor allegedly talked the girl into lowering her pants for him, the parents told police.

Parker said the boy also lowered his pants in front of the girl.

 The parents also reported possible fondling by the 11-year-old.

Parker said police are currently investigating the claims.
