Residential Programs and Services notified Forest residents Thursday at about 10:54 p.m. that freshman resident Kyle Williams died in his hometown of Martinsville.
No other details are available at this time.
RPS encouraged students who might be having a difficult time processing the situation to reach out to IU Counseling and Psychological Services.
A walk-in clinic will be available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Students can also seek help after hours and throughout the weekend by calling 812-855-5711.
