A new high-speed network will allow for greater utilization of resources when pursuing research endeavors, IU President Michael McRobbie said in a press release.
“The Indiana GigaPoP has been an outstanding value in joint purchasing among Indiana’s colleges and universities via the I-Light network,” he said.
The Indiana GigaPoP is a foundation dedicated to Indiana’s research and education communities.
“The Indiana GigaPoP provides an advanced high-speed, high-availability, feature-rich network that serves Indiana’s top research colleges and universities,” according to the press release.
