The University Police Officers Bill (Bill No. 30)

Summary: Allows certain police officers employed by a public or private college or university to exercise their power in any part of Indiana if the Board of Trustees of the college or university adopts a resolution specifically describing the territorial jurisdiction of a police officer employed by the college or university, and sends notice to the superintendent of state police and the sheriff of the county in which the institution is primarily located.

The Voyeurism Bill (Bill No. 110)

Summary: Makes peeping up or under another person’s clothing a Class B misdemeanor. Enhances the penalty to a Class C felony if the victim is less than 16 years old. Provides a defense to the Class C felony enhancement if the defendant reasonably believed that the person was at least 16 years old.
