IU President Michael McRobbie has announced a new partnership with O.P. Jindal Global University in Haryana, India, near New Delhi.
The partnership will foster collaboration between JGU and three of IU’s schools - the Maurer School of Law, the Kelley School of Business, and the School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
The IU Center on Philanthropy in Indianapolis will also be involved, working with JGU on social entrepeneurship and other aspects of philanthropy.
Through the Maurer School, the collaboration will help provide internships in India for IU law students, and U.S. opportunities for Indian students.
The two universities will work together on research and establishing conference opportunities, while also recruiting for the Maurer School’s international LLM program.
The Kelley school will work with the Jindal Global Business School on its new master’s in business and law degree and a possible collaborative undergraduate initiative.
SPEA will offer a summer program at IU for master’s degree students at the Jindal School of International Affairs and a non-credit executive program for Indian professionals on the Bloomington campus.
