More jobs coming soon to central Indiana

KOKOMO, Ind. – A startup information technology company plans to open its headquarters in central Indiana and potentially hire hundreds of workers in the coming years.

The founders of Zuna Infotech announced Wednesday that they would base the company in Kokomo’s technology park.

The company said it plans to hire 400 workers by 2012 and wants to provide technology functions and business services often outsourced to other countries, concentrating on security, health care and technical support.

Gov. Mitch Daniels joined in the Kokomo announcement.
