Meeting today to introduce students to greek life

There will be an information panel at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Quad for any students interested in joining a fraternity or sorority.

The entire greek community, which includes the Interfraternity Council, the Panhellenic Association, the Multicultural Greek Council and the National Pan-hellenic Council, will be at the meeting.

Tonight’s panel will be the first of three. The second will be Sept. 9 in Teter Quad and the third will be Sept. 13 in McNutt Quad. Both meetings are at 7 p.m.

The panel will consist of a Q&A session and will cover general information about recruitment.

“We want to educate new members so that they have a reason to rush,” said Anna Berg, the Panhellenic Association’s vice president of recruitment. “We want them to be able to make an early commitment.”
