At 1:30 Monday, fire, police and other emergency personnel will respond to Jordan Hall. It's part of a "full-scale" simulation - practice dealing with fire, chemical spills, biological incidents, flooding and gas inhalation.
The building will be evacuated. Some will be allowed to return to immediately, though some working in the building will be delayed for one to one and a half hours, according to an IU press release.
Onlookers might see fire trucks and other emergency vehicles as well as staff in protective gear, according to the press release. Volunteer "victims" will be lying on the ground and put onto stretchers.
