No. 22 Indiana men’s soccer senior forward Oliver Moller-Jensen continued his hot start to the 2026 season, winning TopDrawerSoccer’s National Player of the Week, per an Indiana Athletics release Tuesday.
Moller-Jensen scored two goals in the Hoosiers’ 3-1 season-opening victory against the University of Notre Dame on Aug. 20. The Florida Atlantic University transfer scored his first goal in the game’s 14th minute after forcing the Fighting Irish into a turnover and rocketing a low shot into the bottom corner.
Moller-Jensen then tacked on another goal in the 57th minute after senior defender Alex Barger’s shot ricocheted off the right post. The 5-foot-9 Moller-Jensen was in the right place to strike the ball into the back of the net.
In both matches to begin the season, Moller-Jensen also added an assist. He found junior forward Easton Bogard for both — first, a 37th-minute goal against Notre Dame and then a 65th-minute score against the University of Evansville on Aug. 23.
“It’s so complimentary of his ability to unlock and find a pass,” Yeagley said after the Notre Dame match. “Now, you have Bogard slipping in and getting in because he’s a lethal goal scorer if you give him a window.”
Moller-Jensen also tacked on a goal against Evansville in the 85th minute, sealing the 3-0 win for Indiana.
The Hoosiers will be back in action against Butler University on Thursday to wrap up a three-game homestand at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington. Indiana will then travel to face University of Louisville on Monday for its first away match of the season.
