Money, narcotics stolen from K-mart

The Bloomington Police Department is still investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Kmart Pharmacy, 3175 W. Third St.
The pharmacist told police the suspect demanded specific narcotics and money and pulled back a jacket to reveal a handgun placed in the waistband of his pants, according to a BPD press release. The pharmacist then placed an undisclosed amount of cash, OxyContin and Methadone in a bag at which point the suspect fled the store.
No one was injured in the incident. The estimated value of the drugs stolen is about $10,000.
The case is still being investigated, and police say anyone with information should contact Detective Rick Crussen at 339-4477.
