An accident at the intersection of Ind. 45 and Curry Pike left one person dead and another in critical condition Sunday.\nJean Ricciardi, 52, of Quinlan, Texas, was riding his motorcycle west on Ind. 45 when 76-year-old Thelma Prince of Bloomington struck him as she was turning left from eastbound traffic, according to Bloomington Police Department reports.\nRicciardi was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered severe head injuries. He was taken to Bloomington Hospital and pronounced dead.\nSharon Lichti, 53, of Bloomfield was riding with Ricciardi and was also thrown from the motorcycle. She was taken to Bloomington Hospital in critical condition, according to police reports. \nNeither were wearing helmets.\nAfter striking the motorcycle, Prince lost control of her car and struck another vehicle sitting at the intersection at Curry Pike. Neither Prince nor the driver of the other vehicle were injured. \nPrince was given a breath test and no alcohol was present, according to police reports.
