The work of Emily Hahn, a famous traveling writer whose life defied convention, is on display beginning Tuesday at the Lilly Library Main Gallery. The exhibit, titled "Emily Hahn: A life of adventure and writing" features a selection of Hahn's short stories, biographies, histories, non-fiction on a variety of subjects, books for children and several autobiographical works. Hahn is known for her passion for travel, writing and monkeys, as well as her notorious love affairs, opium addiction and public cigar smoking.
