Volunteer Opportunities

Meal deliveries\nThe Community Kitchen and the Senior Citizens Nutrition Project of Area 10 Agency need volunteers to deliver meals to homebound elderly Thanksgiving Day. The routes are short. You must be a licensed driver with an insured vehicle. Contact Bruce at 876-3383 or bparrott@bloomington.in.us.

Community Kitchen Board Member\nThe Community Kitchen would like to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. Board members are to attend monthly board and committee meetings and assist with special projects. Skills or experience with fund raising, human resource management, food service or financial management are helpful, but a commitment to ending hunger and dedication to volunteer service are the primary qualifications. Youth are encouraged to apply. Minimum age is 17. Call 332-0999 or kitchen@bloomington.in.us for an application.

Activity Assistants\nBean Blossom Health Care Center seeks volunteers to work as quilters, banjo, fiddler and piano players, euchre players, Bible Study and Sunday morning worship leaders, party planners and field trip and Adopt-a-Grandparent volunteers.
