IU’s free COVID-19 testing program is now focused exclusively on rapid antigen tests. Through the updated program, students, faculty and staff can receive up to four tests per month, according to IU’s COVID-19 information site.

Over the last few weeks, multiple students have begun speaking out about disability accommodations at IU. Many students at IU work with the Disability Services office to get accommodations, including in-person captioning, accessibility vans, extended test time or anything else they might need to succeed in classes. Some of these students feel like accommodation is not being provided.

Chaired by Anastasia Morrone, dean of the IU School of Education, and comprised of faculty, staff and students, the committee will attempt to find a suitable dean to replace the interim dean, Ash Soni.

After more than three years of protesting working conditions at IU which culminated last spring in a weekslong strike, members of the Indiana Graduate Workers Coalition-United Electrical Workers are now voting on whether to strike again starting this week. Since the last strike ended in May, IU has announced policy changes that address the IGWC-UE’s five main demands, but has withheld union recognition.

The IU Board of Trustees and the executive committee of Purdue’s Board of Trustees agreed to split Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis into two separate schools Friday..
