What makes Sophie Garre and Leslie Hureau different is not their outstanding work ethic on and off the court, their tight friendship or that they live together. When they go home after a hard day’s practice or when they do not want a teammate to hear what they have to say, they speak French to each other.

Bradley outpaces IU during second game of spring

After falling behind 3-0 in the first 20 minutes of its game Sunday, the IU men’s soccer team failed to muster a successful comeback at Jerry Yeagley Field, falling 5-3 to Bradley in the team’s second match of the spring.

Hoosiers make their mark in West Lafayette, Texas

It was another weekend full of success for the IU men’s and women’s track squads. It was a split squad weekend, with athletes traveling to two separate meets in West Lafayette and Austin, Texas.

Locked at seven goals apiece, freshman Alexis Jones netted a last-minute goal to top rival No. 9 Michigan. The No. 15 Indiana women’s water polo team overtook its archrival Saturday in an 8-7 win.



Miss-N-Out

Chelminiak, Sharp win Miss-N-Out titles

After losing last season’s Miss-N-Out to Eric Young, Phi Delta Theta senior rider Steven Sharp is back on top of the Little 500 Spring Series, and in only her second year riding, Kappa Alpha Theta rider Kathleen Chelminiak is already making her name well known amongst the Little 500 elite.

IU heads to Michigan in attempt to break slide

With little time to digest a double dose of defeat to Ohio State and Louisville, No. 23 Indiana (14-5, 2-1) will test its mettle in the Great Lakes State in back-to-back matches Saturday and Sunday.

Persistent defensive struggles puts team on dubious pace

One of the biggest questions that IU Coach Tracy Smith and the baseball team are facing entering the second Big Ten series of the year is how to clean up the defensive play. After 25 games, the Hoosiers rank last in the Big Ten in errors with 57.
