Women’s tennis dominates opponents without dropping a match

The No. 49 Indiana Hoosiers women’s tennis team traveled to Cincinnati on Saturday to play its first dual matches of the season against Miami (OH) and Cincinnati. The women did not lose a singles or doubles match against either team and Indiana is off to a 2-0 start in the spring season.

Penn State eyes 1st Big Ten win in rematch

IU players and coaches have been able to watch as much film of upcoming opponents as they like all season, but in preparing for today’s contest with Penn State, the Hoosiers have the benefit of firsthand experience for the first time.

Hoosiers lose season opener

The No. 22 IU men’s tennis team started off their season with a match against the No. 40 North Carolina State Wolfpack in Raleigh, N.C. Despite having an early 2-0 lead, the Hoosiers lost 4-3.

Water polo goes 1-3 in Michigan Kick-Off

The No. 14 IU water polo team is 1-3 after its opening weekend of play in the Michigan Kick-Off. The Hoosiers fell to No. 9 San Jose State 12-10 early Saturday then rebounded to take down Colorado State 10-7. IU lost both matches Sunday, falling 11-5 to No. 7 San Diego State and 8-4 to No. 3 UCLA.

IU defeated Northwestern 67-59 Sunday at Welsh-Ryan Arena after stifling the Wildcats into miss after miss and dominating the ensuing rebounds in the first half, then riding out a sloppy second half to remain undefeated in Big Ten road games this season.
