Women's golf placed 14th in first tournament of season

After three days of competitive action, the IU women’s golf team placed 14th in its first tournament of 2013, the Lady Puerto Rico Classic at the Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Hoosiers fall against Purdue

While the Hoosiers came in with a clear mindset and the return of junior starter Ryan LeBlanc, Indiana could not best the Boilermakers on their home mat. The Hoosiers dropped the match against in-state rival Purdue with a final score of 28-13, moving to 0-7 in the Big Ten.

Houston finds success at IU

At the 2013 Meyo Invitational on Feb. 2, Houston cleared the 5.40-meter (17-foot-8.5-inch) height to set a new personal record.

Drouin jumps to another Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor

Drouin's 2.32m-jump also broke the 25-year-old Gladstein Fieldhouse record for men's high jump set by Mark Reed. Later that night, Drouin said it was a very special feeling to be able to break the record in his final home meet.

Even with a last-second loss to Illinois last Thursday, Indiana remains No. 1 in the newest Associated Top 25 poll released today, receiving 26 first place votes.

Patton hired as recruiting coordinator

Former Oklahoma offense line coach James Patton will join the IU football coaching staff as recruiting coordinator, special teams coordinator and assistant defensive line coach, IU Coach Kevin Wilson announced Monday.

Oladipo catalyzes win over No. 10 Ohio State

With 26 points to lead IU, Oladipo reached a new career mark as No. 1 IU triumphed 81-68 against No. 10 Ohio State on Sunday in Columbus, Ohio, for its first win against a top 10 road opponent since 2000.

With the help of the deep ball, No. 1 IU to not only took control of Sunday’s game but also put away the No. 10 Buckeyes for good in the 81-68 victory in Columbus, Ohio.

The Wisconsin women’s basketball team used a 20-5 run between the 10:40 and 3:24 marks of the first half to take control of the game early and hand IU its ninth consecutive loss, beating the Hoosiers 65-53 Sunday in Madison, Wis.

Mens golf places 6th in Big Ten Match Play Championships

After receiving a first-round bye at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla., the fourth-seeded Hoosiers fell to No. 5 Ohio State 2-1-2. Senior Brant Peaper was the lone match winner against the Buckeyes, while seniors Michael McGee and David Mills halved their matches.
