A recent study by IU kinesiology researchers shows that exercise after a meal high in fat reverses the damage done to arteries and improves their overall elasticity.

Violence erupts at protests in Hungary

LONDON -- Ultrathin models walked the runways at London's Fashion Week on Monday, opening the weeklong event with a clear rejection of arguments that waiflike young women should not be permitted to showcase designs. Despite a ban on superskinny models imposed by Spanish organizers at their fashion week in Madrid, slinky women in London were ready to flaunt the spring and summer collections of designers such as Julien Macdonald, John Rocha and Zandra Rhodes.

There are a couple of things about Bloomington's pizza industry that we just don't understand. Don't get us wrong; We're not complaining about what this town has to offer. We just want to address a few peculiarities. First on our list: Hey, Pizza Express, what's the link between condoms and pizza? Our only possible explanation is that the condoms are used as gloves when they run out. Perhaps soaring latex prices forced Pizza Express to cut costs and the part of the glove that covers the palm. The mental image of a pizza-maker with five condoms on his or her fingers spreading cheese and sauce around does not necessarily make us crave pizza, but ignorance is bliss, right?

Riding in reverse

In May the IU Student Foundation passed the "Student Coaching Initiative," which bans nonstudent coaches from the pits on Little 500 race day. IUSF made the decision without consulting alumni coaches, who were later notified via a letter. In a recent forum designed to gauge riders' response to the new ruling, the nearly 60 riders present unanimously opposed the decision. Yet despite the widespread resistance, IUSF leaders have agreed that the rule will be implemented for this year's race.
