Planned Parenthood to offer STD tests

Free sexually transmitted disease tests will be offered at Planned Parenthood in Bloomington this week, as well as every Friday through the end of the month.

X-ray imaging center receives accreditation

The Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of Southern Indiana received accreditation for their Sinus and Temporal Bone Computed Tomography (CT) imaging services March 26. The accreditation was issued by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Computed Tomography Laboratories.

Chelminiak, Sharp win Miss-N-Out titles

After losing last season’s Miss-N-Out to Eric Young, Phi Delta Theta senior rider Steven Sharp is back on top of the Little 500 Spring Series, and in only her second year riding, Kappa Alpha Theta rider Kathleen Chelminiak is already making her name well known amongst the Little 500 elite.

Singing Hoosiers to give director final call

Performing favorite numbers from the past 60 years, the Singing Hoosiers will perform their final concert under the direction of retiring Jacobs School of Music Choral Director and professor Michael Schwartzkopf at 8 p.m. Saturday in the IU Auditorium.

Sheriff's deputy injured in altercation

A Monroe County sheriff’s deputy and a suspect were transported to the hospital after the Bloomington Police Department responded to a shot fired at the intersection of West Seventh and North Adams streets at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
