Officials discuss Lifeline Law

Jeremy Fiege was one of several speakers at a Tuesday night event focused on the Lifeline Law and the dangers of alcohol consumption. Sen. Jim Merritt, R-Indianapolis, and Attorney General Greg Zoellerspoke at “Make the Call Day,” an interactive lecture presented by Union Board and the IU Student Association.


Professor discusses dynamics of attraction and lust

Lust, romantic attraction and attachment are the recipe for love, said Helen Fisher, research professor of anthropology at Rutgers University. She discussed the dynamics in a lecture Tuesday night at the Whittenburger Auditorium as part of the  Themester 2013 lecture series titled “Connectedness: Networks in a Complex World.”

Grubb’s friends, family demand justice

Friends and family filled People’s Park on Tuesday in remembrance of Crystal Grubb. After Crystal’s body was found in a corn field in 2010, an autopsy revealed she was murdered. Crystal’s family wants justice. No one has been charged, but Crystal’s boyfriend was named a suspect
