IU tries to get back on track at Michigan

A rough patch in the No. 14 IU men’s soccer season will get rockier Saturday when the Hoosiers hit the road once again to face Big Ten foe Michigan and try to snap a two-game losing skid.

IU loses in double overtime to Butler

Despite a Darren Yeagle goal three minutes into Wednesday night’s game, the visiting Butler Bulldogs’ bite in the second half was too much for No. 14 IU to handle as the Hoosiers were upset 2-1 in double overtime.

Adlard recognized in conference

Following a career-best effort in IU’s 3-0 shelling of No. 13 Kentucky on Sept. 29, junior forward Andy Adlard collected his first weekly conference honor when he was named this week’s co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.

No. 9 Hoosiers fall to No. 11 Gauchos on Friday

The 10,114 hostile crowd members affected Indiana’s matchup with UC-Santa Barbara. Throughout the 90 minutes of missed passes and miscommunication, IU was unable to score a goal on eleven shots, losing 3-0 to the Gauchos.

IU ranks No. 1 in conference

IU has once again taken its yearly position among the Big Ten’s best. And the Hoosiers, ranked No. 13 nationally, are ready to defend their title as the top-ranked team in the conference.

The floodgates finally opened for the normally sluggish Hoosier offense Tuesday night, as No. 9 IU defeated No. 13 Kentucky 3-0 at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

Nearly one-third of the way through its season, the No. 13 IU men’s soccer team welcomes No. 20 Kentucky today for IU’s first home game since Sept. 6.
