'Art of Chocolate' event raises money for Options for Better Living

For about 200 people Sunday afternoon, enjoying chocolate treats also meant supporting Options for Better Living, a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities lead more fulfilling lives. All proceeds from the "Art of Chocolate" event, which featured chocolate-laden tables from different local chefs, benefited the group.




Alpha Epsilon Pi, 1412 N. Jordan Ave., was kicked off campus Wednesday after the University found them in violation of its hazing policy.

Since the expulsion of IU’s Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity last Wednesday, students in the greek system have both questioned and praised the University’s handling of hazing allegations at the fraternity.

On a day when IU moved into sole possession of first place in the Big Ten, Hoosier Nation felt a bit melancholy. It had just witnessed IU’s first home loss since a guy in a blue shirt and red tie replaced a sulky figure in a sweater vest on the sidelines.
